With more licenses than the DMV, Doug brings brilliance to every bid package and estimate. Doug enjoys time with his wife of 42 years, two daughters and three grandchildren. One of his greatest passions is sharing the love of Jesus, both overseas and as a deacon in his local church.

He serves as President of the ESOP Association Carolina’s Chapter and sits on The National Board of Directors for The ESOP Association as well as The Employee Ownership Foundation. He finds great delight serving as a financial strategist to several non-profits and start-up businesses. He always prioritizes time with his wife and three kids, although he keeps a full plate. When he can squeeze it in, you’ll find him yelling “FORE” on the golf course.

Nash County born and raised, on a boat fishing, he spends most of his off days. No need to worry, his electrical and fishing license will be up-to-date! His loyalty is mirrored by every leader on his multi-million-dollar electrical team.

When he's not developing business, you'll most likely find him shooting guns, fishing, watching movies, raiding dollar-store candy aisles, or hiking a trail with a few of his six kids. Beginning his career 20 years ago as a semi-skilled helper Jay has prided himself with hard work in several rolls in the mechanical industry. He currently serves the role of Managing Director of Operations for Freedom Industries. This veteran has acquired the skills and experience necessary to lead his team in delivering quality products on time. One of Jay’s greatest joys is “seeing people reach the potential they didn’t know they had.” In his down time Jay enjoys traveling, DIY projects, and spending time with his wife and children.
