Our Fearless Founder, with over 40 years of experience in the industry, launched Freedom Industries in 2004 with a small handful of teammates. Within the first three years, Doug won the Rookie Business Leader of the Year for the Rocky Mount Chamber of Commerce and was a finalist for the NEER Entrepreneur of the Year! With more licenses than the DMV, Doug brings brilliance to every bid package and estimate. Doug enjoys time with his wife of 42 years, two daughters and three grandchildren. One of his greatest passions is sharing the love of Jesus, both overseas and as a deacon in his local church.
