Position Summary
The Electrical QA/QC Foreman is responsible for overseeing and executing quality assurance and quality control activities for electrical installations on industrial construction projects. This role ensures all electrical works are completed in compliance with project specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements while supervising field installations to maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards. This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and customer service skills.

Maintain daily paperwork such as timecards, field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence

Good working knowledge of electrical systems in an industrial construction environment

General knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations
-
Review project specifications, drawings, and standards to develop and implement inspection and test plans (ITPs) for electrical systems.

Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and relevant codes (e.g. NEC, IEC).

Maintain updated records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Assist in resolving NCRs by recommending corrective actions and verifying completion.

Support pre-commissioning and commissioning teams during system handovers. Ability to build effective teams by inspiring others to be their best, and to coach and mentor

Supervise electrical QA/QC inspectors and coordinate with electrical foremen to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Provide on-site guidance for installation techniques and compliance requirements.

Monitor subcontractor works to ensure adherence to approved methods and procedures.
